For Parents & Teachers

Some helpful resources, guides and more for teaching or helping children with death

Did you know that, on average, 111 children in the UK lose a parent every day.  That is a huge number.

Talking to kids about death can actually be really helpful for them. Honestly, it’s important that we teach them about dealing with the loss of loved ones so they’re prepared for it when they’re older. Just like how kids learn about life in school, we shouldn’t be afraid to help them understand death, too. It’s tough, but it’s a reality of life that we all have to face at some point.

By giving kids the tools to understand and cope with grief, we can help them navigate through some of the toughest moments of life.  We have included this section to help Parents and Teachers with the education of young people.
