From the moment you hear the news of a loved one or friend that has passed away, a wave of sadness comes over you.  For those who are left to plan the funeral, embark on ensuring all are informed, and then you go to your chosen funeral home, and you’re supported through the next stages. It’s at that time you can get carried through and go with what’s suggested and recommend.  Because they know what their doing. Right? Which is true. You’ll decide on whether your having a Religious Service or a Non Religious Ceremony. Then you’ll decide on whether its a minister led service. However, why not have a Celebrant to actually conduct service. That’s great. They’ll get your chosen minister or they’ll identify a Celebrant they generally use for you. However, that doesn’t mean you have put all your eggs in one basket as so to speak. Please don’t get me wrong I am not disrespecting Funeral Homes and their arrangers, they do  wonderful work. Why not have the Celebrant you want or have found? Maybe you didn’t know Celebrants even existed? Just so you know, you can feel rest assured,  I’m an established Celebrant and have worked with many local funeral directors over the years? I have conducted Celebration of Life Ceremonies in Crematoriums and Chapels and Graveside too. A minister may not necessarily allow a Celebrant to conduct a service in their church, (by all means ask) However, I can still help you with writing the Eulogy, you’ll still have to supply them. To write a beautiful Celebration of Life Service takes great Celebrant workmanship and ability.  You’ll only get one chance at this. Let me work with you to deliver a ceremony that people remember and upon leaving the ceremony shake my hand and say “Thanks lovely service” or “Wow that was brilliant and so well read” “You can do mine” Although I am based in Hampshire, I have conducted my Celebration of Life Services at Chapels and Crematoriums in adjacent county crematoriums such as Dorset, West Sussex, and  Surrey. I have also conducted services in the UK for an additional fee.
